Why not? Well, my friend and I both chatted on the phone, trying to figure it out. I’d written plenty of resumes and cover letters for people I knew, and they were all satisfied with my work.
Then my friend guessed that the reason he didn’t accept my offer of discounted resume writing services probably had very little to do with me, and a whole lot to do with him.
In other words, having a professionally written resume and cover letter was not exactly a very high priority to him, which was why he was having trouble finding employment in the first place.
